Miami has been the most chilled out of all the places we have been so far. It's not like Chicago or New York in that there is not a massive amount to do or see. If you like sunbathing and drinking then this is the place for you. However, it has been nice to chill out and give our feet and legs a break.
The big news is that the tropical storm, Isaac is on its way to us. It's supposed to 'hit' Miami on Monday - the day we fly to New Orleans. Fingers crossed that we can leave Florida.
We have done some cool things. The best thing was a day trip to the Everglades. We went on an airboat tour across the planes and saw and held live alligators. Awesome.
Also, funny thing, when we turned up at our hotel, they were having a massive, glamourous party with the Miami elite out in full force. We rolled up with massive bags sweating out (it is HOT here).
We've checkout out South Beach and gone to the famous News Cafe. we also went on a boat tour and saw 'millionaires island' where we saw the homes of Elizabeth Taylor and P Diddy to name a few. Some of the rich people here are jokes. For example, some D bag with a house on the island installed $80,000 worth of air con to cool the inside AND the outside of his mansion. Douche.
As I said, it's been pretty quiet. Now we're Recharged and hopefully ready for N'Orleans. Keep your fingers crossed we make it there!

Happy Birthday Simon- Love Mum and Dad xxxxx
